"Remote" doesn't always "Work"
While many people continue to enjoy the flexibility of the virtual work environment, it is also becoming clear that more and more people are burning out because of it.
Managing a remote team presents unique challenges that require a different approach than traditional management. As someone who has been managing remote teams for years, I understand these challenges firsthand. In Kim Sheppard's book "Remote Work," co-written with Chris Dyer, several key themes are discussed that I believe are crucial for effective remote management. I was honored to contribute to their project and wanted to expand on how creating routines and boundaries is a critical element that often goes overlooked.
